BARPETA, April 2 - Providing a temporary relief to the people of Barpeta, the test report of all the 13 COVID-19 suspect cases showed negative results today. All the 13 persons were admitted to the Fakharuddin Ali Ahmed Medical College Hospital here yesterday after their return from Delhi recently after attending the Taghlib-E-Jammat at Nizamuddin Makaj.
Out of the 13, eight belong to Barpeta district, three from Bongaigaon and two from Goalpara district.
People of the district and its adjoining areas in particular and the State in general were very anxious about the outcome of the test as several of their counterparts in different parts of the State, including one from neighbouring Nalbari, were detected with coronavirus yesterday.
