12th SFS Challenger�s Basketball

GUWAHATI, Sept 3 - The 12th SFS Challenger�s Trophy Inter-School Basketball Tournament hosted and organised by St Francis De Sales (SFS) Higher Secondary School, Narengi came to an end on Sunday. It was a four-day event where 28 teams (boys and girls) of 17 city based schools participated. In both the categories, the host school emerged champions. Akshmita Malakar and Nitin Prasad of SFS Narengi were adjudged the best players of the final matches. K Dimple of KV Maligaon and Sudhir Varma of SFS Narengi walked away with the best players of the tournament trophy. Rev Fr George, the Provincial, North East, attended the closing function as the chief guest.
