KOKRAJHAR, Nov 28 - The 11 Star Sports Club, Bongaigaon defeated Barhungkha Athletic Club, Kokrajhar 1-0 to emerge winners in the 20th Bodoland Martyrs Gold Cup Football Championship at Bonargaon Rural Mini Stadium, Jaiklong Athletic

playground in Kokrajhar this evening.

Panil Sing striker scored the lone goal of the match in the 78th minute.

Pramila Rani Brahma, State Cabinet Minister handed over the champions� trophy and cash award of Rs 1,00,000 to the 11 Star Sports Club Bongaigaon while Doneswar Goyari, Executive Member of BTC gave away the Runners up trophy along with cash award of Rs 50,000 to Barhungkha Athletic Club, Kokrajhar. MM Boro, Co. 7th APBN presented the best player of the final trophy along with cash award of Rs 5,000 to Ajanta Rabha.

Janamohan Mushahary, Chairman of Ex-BLT Welfare Society, DC and SP of Kokrajhar among other also attended the prize distribution ceremony.

The event was organized by the Ex-BLT Welfare Society from November 17 to 28. Altogether twelve teams across the State participated in this tournament.
