Jorhat, March 22: Altogether 11 persons were found COVID-19 positive in the past two days in Jorhat district thereby increasing the total number of positive cases to 12,373 in the district.
Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati informed that nine new positive cases were detected on Saturday while two other were found positive on Sunday.
She stated that number of active cases in the district was 36 on Sunday and the number of patients discharged after providing treatment was 12,196.
Korati said that the number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the district was 69 till date.
