JORHAT, Aug 6 - One hundred people were found Covid-19 positive in Jorhat district on Thursday thereby raising the total number of positive cases in the district to 2592.
Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati informed on Thursday evening that all 100 positive cases were without travel history and 16 were from Jorhat town.
The total number of active cases in the district on Wednesday day was 1309, the Deputy Commissioner stated.
It may be mentioned here that during the past about 10 days, the number of positive cases found in urban areas of Jorhat town were showing a decreasing trend.
