10 new cases in Sikkim

GANGTOK, July 28 - Ten new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Sikkim in the past 24 hours. Five of these cases were found after RT-PCR tests. The rest five were confimed positive through rapid antigen tests.

Meanwhile, 26 persons were discharged today, taking the total number of cured patients to 174 in the State.

The total active cases now stand at 380, and the cumulative total has reached 555.

The 10 new cases were admitted to COVID-19 wards today. Four patients are in the ICU, a bulletin issued by the DG-cum-Secretary of Health, Dr Pempa T Bhutia, stated.
