JORABAT, Sept 10 - The body of a 22-year-old youth named Karma Das was today found hanging inside a tailoring shop, in which he worked, at 11th mile area of Jorabat.
Sources said Karma, as usual, had taken his dinner around 10.30 pm last night in his shop owner�s home at Jorabat Tinali, Giri Tirtha, near Jorabat police outpost, and returned to his shop.
This morning, the shop owner, Sandeep Chanda, came to his shop and knocked on the shutter. When he got no response, he tried to call on Karma�s phone number but there was still no response from Karma, who was believed to be sleeping inside.
Later, Sandeep managed to open the door and found Karma hanging. There was a suicide note, which stated that Karma took this extreme step due to family tension.
The Khanapara police, which has registered a case in this regard, said there is something amiss in the case. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
