Young social scientists� meet in January 2019

GUWAHATI, Nov 16 - The Omeo Kumar Das (OKD) Institute of Social Change and Development, Guwahati, will hold a young social scientists� meet with a two-day programme on January 7-8, 2019.

The institute has invited applications from research scholars across the country working on diverse issues and areas of the North East. Interested scholars may apply online at www.okd.in or by email ([email protected]) with a summary of their research work within 1,500 words and their CV before November 25, 2018.

Only shortlisted scholars will be allowed to make presentation in the meet. The Institute will reimburse A/C three-tier train fare by the shortest route for all shortlisted scholars and offer local hospitality.

OKD Institute has been organising the young social scientists� meet from time to time for young scholars working in the North East. The objective of the meet is to provide a platform to young scholars to present their research work, interact with other scholars and resource persons, and to build networks.
