Yagya at Nabagraha temple from today

GUWAHATI, Feb 12 � The ceremonial beginning of the 82nd annual maha yagya, 2015 of Nabagraha temple was held at the temple premises here this evening.

Being held to seek blessings of the Nabagraha for the well-being of the society as a whole, the programmes for February 13, 14 and 15 have been chalked out as follows.

Friday � Collection of sun flame to light the holy fire of the yagya at 10.15 am; Ojapali show at 2.30 pm and Assam puppet show at 6 pm.

Saturday � non-stop offering of oblation; religious deliberation from 10.30 am; Bhagwat study (11.30 am); Naam Kirtan by ladies (12.30 pm); Ojapali show (2 pm), Pallabi puppet show (5 pm) and Nagara naam kirtan at 8 pm.

On the last day, besides the continued offering of oblation, there will be Ojapali (10 am); and offering of full and concluding oblation to maha yagya for blessing of peace, distribution of prasad and closing ceremony of the yagya from 1.05 pm, a press release stated.
