GUWAHATI, June 19 - In a bid to earn place in the Tokyo Olympics for skaters of Northeast, the Assam Roller Skating Association (ARKA) is planning to popularise the sport in this region.
Along with the rest of the world, the State roller skating body will organise the World Skateboarding Day on June 21 with a day-long programme in the city.
Meanwhile, the ARKA in association with NF Railway is planning to organise a coaching camp at the newly set-up skate park by NF Railway at Maligaon from July 15 to 21, a release said.
