TEZPUR, April 26 - World Malaria Day was observed in Tezpur on Wednesday with the theme �Ready to beat Malaria� underlining the collective energy and commitment of the global malaria community in uniting the common goal of a malaria free world.
In this connection a rally was taken out from the Nursing Training Centre. It was flagged off by Kishan Kumar Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Health), Sonitpur in presence of Dr Krishna Kemprai, Joint Director of Health Services, Sonitpur and Dr S.P Bordoloi, CMO (CD), Sonitpur.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Kemprai said, � Together, we can ensure that no one is left behind in accessing life-saving services to prevent, diagnose and treat malaria�.
