IMPHAL, Dec 15 - With the theme �Sustainable Livelihood and Social Exclusion�, an one-day international workshop was held at the Manipur University campus, Canchipur, about 6 km south of Imphal on Tuesday.
The Workshop was organised by the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy, Manipur University. The UK-based University of Bath�s Dr Lucy O�Shea and Professor Shasikanta Nandeibam, both from the Department of Economics, made two separate presentations on sustainable livelihood and social exclusion issues as resource persons in the workshop which was attended by Manipur University Vice Chancellor Prof H Nandakumar Sarma and Dean, School of Social Sciences Prof Elangbam Bijoykumar Singh and other teachers and faculty of the University.
