IMPHAL, March 16 - The owner of a restaurant who was allegedly shot by militant outfit KCP(Poirei Lup) on February 19 last at Khurai locality in Imphal East district succumbed to her injuries at the RIMS Hospital today, the police said.
Laishram Ongbi Romita (38) was undergoing treatment at the RIMS since yesterday after she was shot for allegedly defying the earlier instruction of the outfit to shut immoral activities in her restaurant.
Following the incident, she underwent treatment at a private clinic, but was re-admitted at RIMS as her condition deteriorated.
A man and a teenage girl were also shot on that day by cadres belonging to the outfit. � PTI
