KOHIMA, Aug 26 - The Kohima bench of the Gauhati High Court on Monday launched a website where litigants can check the status of their cases.
Justice S Serto of the Kohima bench launched kohimahighcourt. gov.in, according to which, 1,046 cases, including 94 criminal cases, are pending for more than a year. The website hosts the Case Information System of the court. �The main purpose of launching the CIS is to let litigants know the status of the cases online,� said Neiko Akami, Registrar-cum-Central Project Coordinator of the Kohima bench. He said citizens can access all the orders passed by the court.
The site has been designed by the Kohima bench, and is being hosted by the National Informatics Centre-Nagaland State Centre (NIC-NSC), Akami said. � PTI
