GUWAHATI, Nov 12 - Sports Authority of Assam will conduct a webinar tomorrow at 1.30 pm on �Importance of Sports for Children�. The aim of the webinar is to create awareness about how sports and physical education can benefit children.
The speakers on the occasion will be Preetom Saikia, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Education; Dr Geeta Dutta Baruah, Principal, Shrimanta Shankar Academy; Shivangi Sharma, international swimmer; Kalyan Barman, physical instructor, Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare; Hildul Gogoi, sports journalist.
The webinar will also be live on Facebook page of Sports Authority of Assam @sportsauthorityofassam.
