IMPHAL, June 11 � With the 2014 FIFA World Cup beginning in Brazil from tomorrow, football lovers in Manipur are falling prey to the �football fever� gripping the world.
As part of the celebrations, a handbook called 2014 FIFA World Cup compiled by Jadavchandra Haobam, an All India Football Federation referee instructor was released at the All Manipur Sports Association (AMSA) hall in Imphal yesterday evening.
MLAs Kh Joykishan of Thangmeiband and Karam Thamarjit of Keirao were the chief guests in the function.
The 102-paged handbook contains newly introduced goal line technics, new rules and regulations, rate of tickets, the profile of the stadiums, players, coaches, participating teams, prize money of the championship, etc.
