TURA, Feb 23 - Several areas of Tura have been experiencing shortage of water due to the ongoing repair work being undertaken by the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) water works department on the leaking reservoir on the premises of the Tura Government College.
The repair work has led to a huge water scarcity in Hawakhana, Tetengkol and other surrounding areas. What will make matters worse for the people of the affected areas is that the repair works will not be complete until the end of this week.
