BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 16 - Casting her vote in favour of the BJP candidate in the recently concluded Assembly elections cost the married life of a woman in Biswanath Legislative Assembly in Biswanath district.
According to information available here, one Dilwara Begum, a mother of two children and resident of No-2 Adabheti village under Chatiya Police Station reportedly casted her vote in favour of the BJP candidate, Pramod Borthakur, in the elections getting attracted towards the party though her husband Ainuddin had instructed the members of his family to vote in favour of a particular candidate.
When the matter came to Ainuddin�s knowledge, he got angry and took the extreme decision. The husband invited some villagers and divorced Dilwara, a daily wage worker, according to Muslim law.
