GUWAHATI, July 3 - A voluntary blood donation camp was organised today by the Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College NSS Unit in association with the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital Blood Bank.
More than 20 college students along with the College�s NSS coordinator Nurul Islam voluntarily donated blood during the occasion.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Amburam Gogoi, president of the College Governing Body. On the occasion, Dr Sikhamoni Konwar, the Principal of the College, said blood donation is a noble activity.
Dr Prasanta Kumar Baruah, Associate Professor of GMCH, and many other distinguished guests were present on the occasion.
