GUWAHATI, Jan 24 - NITS Mirza hackathon team �Technoforensics� was invited by the All India Council of technical Education (AICTE) to share their winning experiences at a Regional Level Awareness Workshop on �Smart India Hackathon-2018� held at the Assam Engineering College recently. The workshop was convened by GS Negi, Asst Director, AICTE Camp Office, Guwahati, stated a release.

The NITS team is the only squad from the Northeast to the bag the first prize, which includes Rs 1 lakh, medals and certificates, in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH)-2017.

The team was highly applauded by the dignitaries and delegates of the event for being the only team from the entire Northeast to bag the first prize in SIH-2017.

The event was attended by representatives from educational institutes like Jorhat Engineering College, Assam Engineering College, TTAADC Polytechnic Institute-Tripura, Royal Global University, Down Town University, GIMT, NITS Mirza, and also the AICTE representatives from New Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati.
