GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - The 18th Foundation Day of the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) was celebrated on Saturday, stated a release.
Former India players Ajay Ratra and Sunil Joshi were present as special guests during the occasion. Ratra gave away the Ranji Cricketer of the Year award to Arup Das while Sunil Joshi presented the Cricketer of the Year award to Krishna Das.
Noni Dutta was awarded the Nurul Amin Sports Organiser Award while VCAA Life Time Award for Cricket Coach was presented to Pranab Baruah. The VCAA Life Time Achievement Award for Cricketer was presented to Bimal Bharali.
