GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - Lions Club of Guwahati Kamrupa volunteered in the Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign initiated by the Ministry of Health, Government of India.
The vaccination was conducted successfully at SBOA Public School, Gorchuk. A total of 405 students were vaccinated during the campaign. The club also distributed beverages and toffees to the vaccinated students.
A 20-member team from the club including president Nisha Saraf and secretary Preeti Goyal assisted the implementation of the programme, a press release said.
