IMPHAL, Nov 24 - The polo team of United States of America (USA) thrashed Thailand 8-3 while England defeated Australia 9-7 goals in the 9th Manipur Polo International, 2015 played at Mapal Kangjeibung Pologround, the oldest living pologround in the world located in the heart of Imphal town on Tuesday. Earlier Manipur had trounced Thailand 17-2 on Monday.
On November 23, Manipur team from India continued their winning streak after defeating Thailand while USA registered its first win on the second day of the championship.
