AIZAWL, April 9 - Visiting Union Minister of State for Rural Development Sudarshan Bhagat called on Mizoram Governor Lt Gen Nirbhay Sharma (Retd) at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.
The Union Minister, who visited Kolasib district during the day, told the State Governor of the purpose of his visit which was to inspect the IAY and Rural development initiatives in Kolasib district.
He told the Governor that he is satisfied with the various initiatives that have been carried out in the RD blocks in Kolasib district.
The Governor told the Union MOS for Rural Development that the need of Centre�s help by Mizoram is quite high for being a small State. It is also necessary that the funds are received in time, he added.
