IMPHAL, March 17 - The United Naga Council has reiterated its decision to go ahead with its proposed 15-hour total bandh in Naga tribal districts, national highways and all national and international projects from Thursday midnight.

The bandh has been called in support of Churachandpur based Joint Action Committee (JAC) against Anti-Tribal Bills, which has called for a total shutdown in Manipurs Churachandpur district headquarters on March 18 as a mark of 200th day of sorrow and unrelenting struggle for justice and tribute to the nine tribal martyrs.

Meanwhile, KSO Churachandpur district has appealed to the JAC to review its decision saying that the time was not appropriate as students are appearing in Class X and XII examinations.
