GUWAHATI, Nov 11 - Top ULFA(I) leader Drishti Rajkhowa (real name Manoj Rabha) today surrendered before the Assam Police at an undisclosed location in Meghalaya.
The self-styled deputy commander-in-chief of the rebel outfit is being brought to Guwahati by a team of Assam Police.
Rajkhowa along with few other ULFA militants were in touch with the Assam Police for the last few weeks, sources said.
A confidant of ULFA chief Paresh Baruah, Rajkhowa was responsible for the outfit�s activities in lower Assam and recently his movement was traced along the Assam-Meghalaya border (Garo Hills) near Assam�s Goalpara district.
