JORHAT, Aug 6 - Golaghat Police today arrested an Ulfa-I cadre, identified as Suleng Doley, from Furkating area of the district.
A police source stated that, Doley, a resident of Borguri of Sadiya Civil subdivision of Tinsukia district, had reportedly confessed to police of having links with the NSCN I-M and also revealed about of having a plan to form a new militant outfit under his leadership.
He needed money for the purpose and allegedly demanded money from a businessman of Furkating. He was nabbed when he reportedly came to collect the money, the source said.
