GUWAHATI, Dec 8 - Udit Gogoi of Assam lifted the boys U-16 singles title in the AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament which concluded today at Imphal, Manipur. In the final Udit defeated Ajoy Singh of Haryana in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. However in the doubles final Udit, partnering with Promit Bordoloi of Assam lost to Bhushan Haobam and Rahul Pamei of Manipur 6-4, 7-6 (5). In the girls U-16 age group Assam girl Kristi Boro lost in the semifinals to Bhakti Parwani of Gujarat 6-2, 1-6, 4-6. This was stated in a AATA press release.
