DULIAJAN, Jan 20 � Udit Gogoi of Duliajan and Anurag Borgohain from Guwahati have reached the final in the boy�s U-12 years of the Oil India All Assam Junior Tennis Championship at Zaloni and Duliajan Club tennis courts here today. Udit outplayed Bahniman Rajkonwar Das of Guwahati 4-0, 4-1 in the first semifinal while in the other semifinal, Anurag beat Arunan Choudhory of Guwahati 4-1, 4-1.
In boy�s singles U�14, Prahlad Borthakur of Duliajan caused an upset by defeating second seed Abhijay Hazarika of Tezpur 7 -6 in the quarterfinal. In the other quarterfinals, Arunesh Sarma from Duliajan beat Partha Protim Bora of Duliajan 7-5, Arnab Protim Das of Golaghat beat Debanga P Hazarika from Golaghat 7-6 and Anurag Buragohain beat Ritukalpa Gogoi of Duliajan 7-2 respectively.
In boy�s U�18, Arnabjan Lahkar from Duliajan reached the semifinal defeating Ritukalpa Gogoi of Duliajan7-1 while in the other quarterfinals, Bhaskar Gogoi from Duliajan beat Prahlad Borthakur of Duliajan 7-2, Arindam Kumar Dutta of Jorhat beat Kumar Baibhab of Golaghat 7-0, Rohan Gogoi of Duliajan defeated Subhranil Padmapati of Duliajan 7-0.
In girl�s U�14, Debangana Borkakoty from Jorhat made it to the final drubbing Breshna Khan of Guwahati 4-1, 4-2 while in the other semifinal Eva Raj Saha of Guwahati defeated Antara Buragohain of Duliajan 1-4, 4-1, 4-1.
