DERGAON, Oct 15 - Preparations are going on to celebrate the Kati Bihu with an extended programme at Dergaon.
The programme, organised by nature organisation, AASHRAY, will include an attractive Tulsi bheti preparation and Tulsi plantation contest in the evening on October 18. The competition will be held at the residence of the participants and observers will attend the participants� houses in the evening.
Later, the short-listed participants will have to appear before a panel of judges for final selection. The top 10 participants will be awarded in an open meeting to be held at Dergaon Sports Association Bhavan on October 19.
In the meeting, a lecture on �Kati Bihu and its rituals� will also be held.
