ITANAGAR, Nov 27 � The planning and monitoring process in Arunachal Pradesh went online on Monday with the launching of scheme management system (SMS) software by Chief Minister Nabam Tuki. �It would serve as blessing for quick preparation of annual operating plan and budget while ensuring transparency to check corruption and misuse of funds by timely execution of projects to check cost overrun,� Tuki said.
The single window SMS offers multifaceted modules, like project management, annual plan, third party monitoring and file management besides a grievances redressal system for the citizens to complain against ongoing schemes, said Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Ltd�s principal consultant Anupam Banerjee. � PTI
