GUWAHATI, April 13 - Nagaon Sports Association, under the aegis of the Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) will host the Trailukya Nath Memorial All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship � season�s first major ranking TT meet at the Nurul Amin Stadium in Nagaon from April 30 to May 3, stated a release issued by ATTA secretary Tridib Duvarah.

The organisers are expecting around 400 paddlers from the affiliated units like Guwahati, Golaghat, Mangaldai, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Dibrugarh, Nagaon, North Lakhimpur, Duliajan, Namrup, Silchar, NF Railway, Oil India Limited. Altogether 10 single events, from cadet to senior, will be conducted during the four-day championship. Interested participants can send their entries to the ATTA secretary before April 20.

Subrajit Singha has been appointed as official observer for the meet while Biman Bhagaboti will be the chief referee. Govinda Upadhaya and Chandan Goswami will act as Bhagaboti�s deputy. The draw of the tournament will be made at the ABITA Indoor Stadium here on April 22.
