Trust offers fiscal help to 26 poor but meritorious students

DERGAON, May 26 - In a significant move, FM Educational Trust, which is a noted organisation of education and culture of Adharsatra in Golaghat district has provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to 26 poor but meritorious students of the district who secured distinction marks in the HSLC examination, results of which were declared recently.

The students who received the financial assistance are Diganta Tanti, Anupama Hazarika, Debashish Sarmah, Parismita Hazarika, Mujib Ahmed, Irfan Ali, Farhin Begum, Ankur Kalita, Kaberi Gogoi, Ranjan Bora, Bitupan Bora, Jakir Hussain, Aman Shah, Susmita Hazarika, Rejina Begum and 11 others.

The Trust also assured to provide the entire expenses of higher education of 5 best students among the 26 selected students who got the financial assistance. They are Susmita Hazarika, Anupama Hazarika, Parismita Hazarika, Debashish Sarmah and Ankur Kalita.

The cheques of the aforementioned financial assistance were given away to the students at a public meeting held at the premises of FM Smart School, Adharsatra.

The meeting, chaired by the secretary of the Trust Jiauddin Ahmed was moderated by the Director of FM Food Processing Traders Madhab Saikia.

The programme was attended by the office-bearers of Golaghat District Journalists� Association Rohit Gogoi and Samiran Diganta Bora, besides Delhi-based member of the Trust, Jakiullah Ahmed etc.

The speakers at the meeting praised the efforts of FM Trust.

The students who received the assistance thankfully acknowledged the help offered by the Trust.
