AGARTALA, Jan 4 � Tripura administration has geared up its machinery to make success of the two-day trip of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Vice President of India Hamid Ansari, who would be arriving here on January 11.
Hasina would be conferred honorary Doctorate of Literature by Tripura Central University on its ninth convocation to be held here on January 12.
Vice President Hamid Ansari, who would be present at the convocation ceremony will hand over the doctorate degree to Hasina.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Chief Secretary Sanjoy Panda held several meetings with the top administrative and police officers and security personnel to make the visit of the two dignitaries a success. � PTI
