AGARTALA, Jan 2 � Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today appealed to the BSF to be more cautious while resorting to firing and maintain cordial relation with the people living in the border areas.

�I would appeal to BSF personnel to be more cautious while opening fire and develop and maintain a cordial relation with the people living along the Indo-Bangla border areas,� Sarkar said after inaugurating a composite Border Outpost (BoP) at Ghosh Khamarpara in South Tripura district.

�BSF is our pride which is persistently guarding our border and fighting to stop the entry of insurgents into our territory from neighbouring Bangladesh,� he said. � PTI
