AGARTALA, May 2 - Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has lashed out at the BJP-led government for resorting to money, muscle power and communal card to win elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Sarkar said that despite all conspiracies the eighth Left Front government would be formed. The rally was also addressed by party MP Shankar Prasad Dutta , CITU president Pijush Nag, Power Minister Manik Dey.

Meanwhile, CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury is scheduled to visit the state to address a rally of Students Federation of India (SFI), the student wing of the ruling party.
