GUWAHATI, Jan 21 � The Table Tennis Federation of India has appointed Tridib Duvarah, secretary of Assam Table Tennis Association, as the observer of the 73rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championship which wiil be held at Lucknow from Janaury 23 to 29. Duvarah is deputy manager (PR&C) of Oil India Limited and he was recently felicitated by the Indian community residing in the US for his contributions towards table tennis in Assam.
Assam squad: The Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) has announced its squad for the Senior Table Tennis Championship to be held at Lucknow, stated a press release issued by ATTA secretary Tridib Duvarah.
The team: (Men) Anal Kashyap, Chinmoy Sarma, Elsyed Mustaffa Hussain, Kaushik Phukan, Manash Das. (Women) Sanjana Sarma, Maheshweta Batsalya, Muchana Gohain, Mallika Gogoi, Kakoli Lahkar. (Coach) Biman Bhagawati, Tapuban Das. (Manager) AHM Ali, Soneswar Deka.
