GUWAHATI, Jan 29 - Senior journalist DN Singh, who passed away at the GMCH on January 28, was given a heartfelt tribute on his last journey by the fellow journalists and other well-wishers at the Guwahati Press Club this afternoon.
Singh�s last rites were performed at the Bhootnath crematorium here.
Admired and respected by all, DN Singh was associated with the Guwahati Press Club as its office secretary for the past 15 years. A number of senior journalists and close associates remembered him as a very active member of the media fraternity and an unbiased journalist.
A memorial meet, commemorating his life and works, will be held at the Press Club on January 31 from 11 am.
