Tribune Group employee accorded farewell

GUWAHATI, Nov 30 - Employees of the Assam Tribune Group today accorded a warm farewell to Tanu Ram Haloi, who retired as in-charge of the type section of the organisation, at a meeting held in the office premises.

Haloi, who had joined the organisation on July 1, 1987, retired from service today.

The meeting was presided over by Tapan Bordoloi, who shared the dais with Karuna Kanta Pathak and convener of the meeting Jiten Kalita.

Several employees of the Tribune Group, including Manjil Borgohain, Anima Das and Tulika Pathak, reminisced their association with Haloi and spoke about his positive attributes.
