DIPHU, Oct 12 - A training on comprehensive management of children with hearing and vision impairment was held here recently at Diphu Kalakendra conference hall under the aegis of National Health Mission, Assam, Department of Health & Family Welfare. The training was organised especially for the additional teachers of East and West Karbi Anglong districts (Science and Mathematics teachers) under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) programme.
The training was held basically stressing on the early identification and early intervention for children from birth to 18 years to cover the 4 �D�s viz., Defects at birth, Deficiencies, Diseases, Development delays including disability.
During the hearing and visiConsultant, RMSA and Mayabi Hasnu, District Programme Officer (Inclusive Education), RMSA were present.
