Training on burn care

GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - Burn Care Foundation, a social unit of Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati, organised a training programme on essential burn care at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal on August 18 and 19.

The programme was intended to impart basic and advanced burn care training to doctors and nurses involved in treatment of burn injuries. The training programme, designed by INTERBURNS contained emergency and surgical management of burns, rehabilitation of burn victims and rehabilitation and prevention of burn accidents, a press release stated.
