GUWAHATI, Nov 13 - The Assam Gramin Vikash Bank � Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Kamrup (M) conducted a six-day general entrepreneurs development programme in the institute premises from November 7.
The intensive training programme included entrepreneurs development, financial know-how and management of self-help groups.
The training programme was attended by 24 secretaries, presidents and others from different SHGs under Chandrapur development block of the district. The training programme was inaugurated by Kamal Bhowmik, Regional Manager, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Guwahati, who also attended the valedictory function.
DC Nath, Director of the institute informed that all the trainees have been nominated by UCO Bank, Chandrapur branch and loan, amounting to Rs 50,000 per group will be sanctioned by the bank for their self-employment, a
statement said.
