Training conducted for jobless youths

GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - A six-day general entrepreneurs development programme was conducted recently by the Assam Gramin Vikas Bank, Rural Self-Employment Training Institute, Kamrup Metro, in the institute premises here.

Around 25 youths from various areas of the district attended the training, which was inaugurated by Durlov Chandra Nath, director of the institute.

The valedictory programme of the training was attended by Sahjahan Ali Ahmed, Assistant Project Officer (Technical), DRDA, Kamrup Metro, along with other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed threw light on techniques of trade and advised the trainees to maintain good relations with their bankers for their future development.

He congratulated the trainees and highlighted the basic objectives and advantages of the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute.
