Train services from Silchar to resume

GUWAHATI, June 19 - NF Railway today said that train services to Silchar will resume as flood-waters in the railway tracks have receded and fitness certificate received for operating in the line. �In view of receipt of track fitness certificate for running of train over the flood-affected Panchgram-Katakhal section near Silchar, normal running of trains will be restored in the Badarpur-Silchar section. Accordingly, 15612 Silchar-Guwahati Express will start from Silchar tomorrow as per time table, while the 15943 Silchar-Dibrugarh Express will also restart services from Silchar tomorrow,� said an official statement.
