GUWAHATI, July 25 � Train movement in the Alipurduar-Kokrajhar section has resumed with effect from 2-45 pm today, with the 12502 Up PB Samparkranti Express which was stranded at Alipurduar Junction since 2-15 pm on July 24, leaving Alipurduar, an NF Railway release said.
Similarly, the 12436 Up Rajdhani Express which was stranded at New Coochbehar since 2-07 pm on July 24 left Coochbehar at 3-25 pm today.
The 12513 up Secunderabad-Guwahati Express, the 15610 up AA Express, the 15905 up Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Express, the 15667 Up Gandhidham-Kamakhya Express, the 12506 Up NE Express, and the 15657 Up Kanchanjangha Express � stranded at New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Hasimara, Dhupguri, New Alipurduar and New Alipurduar respectively � all left their stations today.
It may be mentioned that for the passengers of the stranded trains it was an ordeal as there were no adequate basic amenities in the stations where the trains were halted.
