Traffic restrictions during �Bole Bom�

GUWAHATI, July 7 � The City Police (Traffic) will regulate the movement of vehicular traffic during the days of �Bole Bom� in Guwahati.

Traffic regulation will be effected on July 8, 15, 22 and July 29, besides August 1 at Sukleswar Temple under Pan Bazar police station and Basistha Temple under Basistha police station. The restrictions will be imposed from 10 pm to 8 am next day.

Under the Panbazar police station, all types of vehicles coming from the High Court side towards Sukleswar Temple via MG Road will be diverted at DC Court Police Point towards HB Road via ARB Road.

The vehicular traffic will take right turn at the Commissioner�s Point towards Panbazar and then to MG Road via HB Road and SS Road taking right turn at Sikh Temple police point.

All vehicular traffic coming from Bharalumukh side towards High Court via MG Road will be diverted towards Dr JC Das Road and take left turn at Khubchand point, then proceed via HB Road, Panbazar Point, CTO Point, Commissioner�s Point or to KLB Road and onwards. All vehicular traffic coming from Panbazar overbridge north point towards MG Road via MLN Road will take left turn to Sikh temple via SS Road from 10 pm.

As far as Basistha Temple is concerned, the restrictions will be imposed from 8.30 pm to 4 am. Accordingly, all types of vehicles coming from Dispur Last Gate side towards Basistha Chariali shall be diverted at Beltola Bazaar Tiniali towards Jayanagar Chariali side.

Further, all vehicles carrying devotees from different areas to Basistha Temple shall be stopped at Basistha Chariali.
