GUWAHATI, Nov 28 � In view of the ensuing visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Guwahati, the traffic police has imposed some restrictions on movement of vehicular traffic at certain roads on November 29-30.
The traffic police has prohibited temporarily the movement of all goods carrying heavy and medium commercial vehicles, inter-district and long distance buses, including the buses operating under ASTC, on DG Road, MG Road, AT Road, B Barooah Road and GS Road during these two days, said an official statement.
Besides, prohibition has also been put on movement of non-motorized, slow moving vehicles on DG Road, MG Road, KLB Road, AT Road, B Barooah Road and GS Road
Parking of vehicles on DG Road, MG Road, KLB Road, AT Road, B Barooah Road and GS Road and parking of vehicles in Jalukbari rotary has also been prohibited on November 29-30.
