GUWAHATI, Aug 19 � In connection with the celebration of Idd-ul-Fitre tomorrow, the movement of vehicles will be regulated to ensure safety of the public, informs an official press release.

All types of vehicles coming from the Bharalumukh side will be regulated at Apollo Hotel point and diverted along the TRP Road via HB Road and Kedar Road crossing (Machkhowa petrol pump) and then via either AT Road, or MG Road via Kedar Road.

All types of vehicles coming from the Panbazar side towards the Bharalumukh side will be diverted and allowed to proceed via Chambers� Road, Jail Road (HB Road), and then towards AT Road and Bharalumukh via FA Road.

Only one lane will be allowed on GNB Road for movement of vehicles in front of Burah Jame Masjid at Ambari. Parking of vehicles will not be allowed on GNB Road in front of the Burah Masjid.

Vehicles coming from Chandmari and the B Borooah Road side will be regulated at TC point and diverted via CK Agarwala Road, Lamb Road or via MC Road, Uzanbazar.

All heavy passenger vehicles coming from the Chandmari side towards Panbazar or Jalukbari would be regulated at Guwahati Club point and diverted via MC Road, Barowari.

The portion of the MG Road between Apollo Point and Kedar Road crossing in front of Pragjyoti ITA, Machkhowa, will remain free from movement of all types of vehicles during the time of namaz.

The portion of GNB Road between TC point to AGP office will remain free from movement of all types of vehicles, stated the press release issued by Bibekananda Das, Superintendent of Police (Traffic, Guwahati City.
