UDALGURI, Aug 19 - Nabajyoti Baruah, a nature activist of Udalguri district from Kalaigaon donated a dozen high-power torchlights to Ismail Daimari, forerunnner activist of JFMC (Joint Forest Management Committee) of Bhairabkunda on August 18 last.
It may be pertinent to add here that the JFMC has so far succeeded in tending a flourishing man-made forest in the wasteland of Bhairabkunda covering more than 1,500 bighas of land where it planted more than 5 lakh trees.
