UDALGURI, Dec 10 - Along with the rest of the State, the Udalguri anchalik committee of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad (AJYCP) on Wednesday took out a torchlight rally across the Udalguri town demanding full autonomy, introduction of double citizenship and against the Central Government�s initiative to accord citizenship to the Hindu refugees in India.
The torchlight rally was also taken out by the anchalik committees of the organisation at Mazbat, Orang, Rowta, Harisinga, Tangla towns of the district where more than 500 AJYCP activists participated.
In Udalguri, the AJYCP leaders like Himangshu Das and Naba Thakuria were present in the event.
